More Than Meets the Eye

The saying goes, "New Year, New You!" Just throw that shit out the window. You are still the same person, just depends on what you wanna do with yourself. Well folks, the Pursuit has ended..... I HAVE ARRIVED! Swole, yes I am. Many may wonder how I make the accusation but just look at me. You are what others see. So since people keep saying shit like, "I see ya getting swole", "Damn bro, you look big in that pic," or "You been working out? You look swole..." I guess that means I'm there!

Now as one has evolved into the male specimen that's before you, it didnt come by osmosis. There was truly a transformation that occured which is why I now go by the name, "TRANSFORMER." No longer am I the scrony individual who could MAYBE perform 1, yes 1, proper pull up. Nope, little dude is gone. Before you stands OPTIMUS PRIME! The leader of the Niggas who wanna get bigger Club. I'm not only a client, I'm the President!
With progression comes adversity. Along my travels, I've encountered some resistance from the opposition known as the "Decepticons" in the form of the Bow-FLEX (Starscream), and the leader... Big as a HOUSE(Megatron). Decepticon is derived from the root word DECEPTION which means to deceive, the act of deceiving or fraud. So with HOUSE being the leader, he's the top FRAUD of the bunch. His most used phrase is: Men lie, women lie, numbers don't. Well, pics don't either. Me and him have the same BF(body fat for you non-work outers) but who has the extra tire hanging out? You be the judge.

I guess this Decepticon blew a tire on liftoff and is caring it around for repairs..... Well, any who.

These next few months are gonna be one for the ages. I'm on a new diet and workout (thanks for Flex) that will add more muscle, and burn some BF. My goal is to get between 180-185 (I'm currently 177), down to 10% BF (I'm at 16...DAMN!), be able to bench my weight 10 reps unassisted, and improve on my OBB..... OVERALL BODY BEAUTY. It can be done and it will be done. With the motivation of friends and FOES, it will make for an interesting workout. Time to get into BEAST MODE!

House.....thats right.......House


Now...as my boy "Flex in the City" has stated, it is a New Year! 2009, or as I like to call it...the year of House! Now, before you ask, let me answer your question "What is he thinking?? Why House?!"



1) The description of a House - Large, sturdy object that can't easily be moved.
2) Dr. House - Arrogant, cocky and has a swagger in the hospital similar to mine in the gym.
3) My competition - The represent my understudies or "Team" that can never seem to get it right so I have to come in and save the patient...in this case....their bodies!
4) I like to call my self a Dr. in the gym. I help to prevent injuries (give advice on lifting form), fix whats broken (See Flex and Transformers), and I am good at what I do! ;-)



Now that that is all cleared up, lets talk about this years goals. Last year was good to us all. Flex gained about 20 lean lbs., Transformers gained some where around 10, and I was able to keep most of the BF I lost off. Pretty good, but now that another competition has come up (Chump Change Challenge 2009) it is time to kick it into overdrive. I started my diet this week as well as morning p90x workouts (those abs are harder than holding back my laughter at the jokers that call them selves my competition). I have also added a second session of cardio after weights in the evening. I am trying a new workout technique I found that IFBB Pro Phil Heath uses. It is called FST-7, where on the last exercise per body part, you do 7 sets of 10 resting only 30 secs. It is rough....very. But I am getting through it and loving the pump. I chose to stack a few supplements for the competition that I think will work out good.



  • Hydroxycut Hardcore - great fat burner

  • Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey protein - Good protein source and low in calories/fat/carbs.

  • Xtend - BCAA/Glutamine drink for recovery

  • Animal Flex - When you are House, you move big weights and need to protect your joints

At weight in I was 238 lbs with 16% BF. My goal is to get down to about 220 lbs. and around 10% BF. Going to take work, but what doesn't?! To my competitors......I wish you luck.

New Year, New Muscles, New Name

This is the dawn of a new year. A new breed of men are being created right before your eyes; super soldiers if you will. In honor of the new me, I will unfortunately no longer go by The City of Swoleton, Population Me. With new muscles come a new name. I even had to create a logo to give you all the full effect. You might be thinking to yourself, "Self, what the hell is wrong with this guy?!" I thought the same thing as I meticulously went over the image for 30 minutes but it was time well spent. This is serious business guys. I am looking at you Swolen One and the Pursuit. I would put up a current progression photo but earlier in the year Taye Diggs' body double tried to sue me for the use of his likeness without proper consent. Oh well, next time.

We haven't updated lately because two of us have been hitting the gym vigorously while the other has put some serious time in his slacking activities. I won't say any names, I will let the progress pictures speak for themselves. To update my stats, I've gained 20 and I am sitting pretty at 192 pounds now.
